about Sarah

I guess I’m a pretty simple, boring person. I love to get together with family & friends, have a quiet cup of tea, take a walk to see the lightening bugs, and read or knit. I also love to ride my bike, watch my son sleep, or just breathe quietly. I LOVE to travel, especially overseas. I enjoy reading, vegan cooking and baking, knitting, mahjong, and drinking the heck out of some hot tea (especially exotic green varieties). I also enjoy dabbling in foreign languages, found art, and still life sketching. I collect LPs, foreign currency, tea cups, NKOTB stuff, and Bibles in other languages.
Most of my professional experience is in adult education. I have taught ESL, ABE, and GED prep. I also taught family nutrition and food budgeting for the Ohio State University’s Montgomery County Extension.
In 2008, my son Josiah was born. These days I spend a lot of time with him.
